About Our Town Our Team
With his beloved Jacksonville Jaguars facing a season-long blackout on all their home games, Jacob Wulff decided to take matters into his own hands. He came up with the idea to start doing rallies to get Jacksonville excited about football again. Soon, other members from the Jaguars message boards came on board. Joshua Harvey came up with the slogan "Our Town, Our Team" and created a Twitter page and Facebook group about the 'movement.' Jon Stone started on the website you are now viewing. Kevin Peffer went out and cut "GO JAGS" back onto the bend on 9A, David Rogers started to spread the idea on the Jaguars message board. In our first 2 weeks of existence, we gained the attention of Action News, Channel 4, writer for Jag-Nation Alfie Crow, unofficial pod-caster for the Jaguars Casey Ayers, and Times-Union writers Vito Stellino, and Michael C. Wright. Several members of the Jacksonville Jaguars have also recognized us; Marice Jones-Drew, Quentin Groves, Atiyyah Ellison and David Garrard are just a few of them.
We want you to know more about us and become a part of the moment that is "Our Town, Our Team." Join us as we take Jacksonville by storm in getting it excited about Jaguars football again. Visit our contact page and learn how to follow us on Twitter and Facebook.
